- The institution has separate bins in place for the segregation of degradable and biodegradable waste. The college also has made provisions for collecting plastic waste and e-waste by placing bins at various locations within its premises. Cleanliness is Godliness, and hence college has employed staff to maintain the campus. These individuals help create a positive atmosphere for faculty and students in their teaching and learning endeavours.

- The Institution has a disabled-friendly, barrier-free environment: ramps/lifts for easy access to classrooms, disabled-friendly washrooms, signage including tactile paths, assistive technologies (screen readers, mechanized equipment), and human assistance for reading or inquiry.
Principal’s Internship Scheme
An internship enhances students' skills and self-reliance (Atmanirbharta). To offer exposure to college administrative functioning, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College introduced the Principal’s Internship Scheme (for both SBS Day and Evening students). This bridges the gap between theory and practice, encourages professional growth, and cultivates future-ready individuals.
Students Aid Fund
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is committed to equal opportunity, social justice, and financial inclusivity. To support students from economically weaker sections, the Student Aid Committee approved over 330 students for fee concessions. Funds were directly transferred to student accounts after a screening process, ensuring transparency and wide departmental coverage.
Gyan Prasar Kendra (Knowledge Dissemination Centre)
Gyan Prasar Kendra is an indigenous platform launched by the college on 25th November 2023 to deliver quality education anytime, anywhere. It aims to bridge the digital divide and support holistic student development through recorded lectures, podcasts, and interactions with role models. This milestone initiative aligns with the vision of “Viksit Bharat.”
